Frequently asked questions
Can people see my phone number?
No. Your number is never shown to anyone who scans your sticker. They send their message through EaseTag and it reaches you on WhatsApp or SMS. They only get your number if you choose to call them back.
Does the person scanning need an app?
No. Any phone camera can scan the QR code and open the EaseTag page in the browser.
What if someone sends spam?
Each sticker has message limits, and bots are filtered out. You can pause alerts at any time from your phone, and report misuse to us.
I sold my car. What now?
Scan your sticker, tap “Manage your tag”, and remove your details in one tap. The new owner can activate it with the original PIN card.
Can I change my number later?
Yes. Open “Manage your tag”, enter your new number and confirm it with a one-time code.
Does it work for bikes and scooters?
Yes. EaseTag works on any vehicle, and the sticker is sized to fit bikes as well as cars.
