Toyota Glanza 2026 variant-wise prices
Autocar India and CarDekho published the same variant-wise list below. Toyota’s own release gives only the starting price and does not name a city, so treat these as introductory ex-showroom figures. On-road prices will be higher and vary by state because of road tax, registration and insurance.
| Trim | Petrol MT | Petrol AMT | CNG MT | CNG AMT |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| E | ₹6.99 lakh | – | – | – |
| S | ₹7.71 lakh | ₹8.31 lakh | ₹8.76 lakh | ₹9.31 lakh |
| G | ₹8.73 lakh | ₹9.33 lakh | ₹9.68 lakh | ₹10.23 lakh |
| V | ₹9.99 lakh | ₹10.59 lakh | – | – |
| V(O) | ₹10.49 lakh | ₹10.98 lakh | – | – |
Autocar India reports that petrol prices have gone up by as much as ₹1 lakh compared with the outgoing Glanza, and CNG manual prices by up to ₹27,000. Some smaller websites quote ₹10.49 lakh as the top price. That figure is the V(O) manual. The V(O) AMT costs ₹10.98 lakh.
Engine, gearbox and mileage
The old four-cylinder engine has been replaced by the new Z12E 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol unit. Toyota rates it at 61 kW (about 83 hp) and 112.4 Nm. In CNG mode it makes 51.3 kW (about 70 hp) and 101.8 Nm. According to Autocar India, that is 7 hp less than before on both fuels, while CNG torque rises slightly. Both fuels get a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT, and idle start/stop is fitted.
The trade-off for the lower power is better claimed efficiency:
| Version | Claimed efficiency (new) | Old model (per Autocar India) |
|---|---|---|
| Petrol MT | 23.80 km/l | 22.35 km/l |
| Petrol AMT | 24.77 km/l | 22.94 km/l |
| CNG MT | 33.61 km/kg | 30.61 km/kg |
| CNG AMT | 34.47 km/kg | Not offered earlier |

What is new: design, features and safety
Exterior
Most of the changes are at the front. There is a larger grille, a sharper bumper with silver accents, redesigned LED fog lamps, and a radar module for the ADAS system. Other additions are a shark-fin antenna and chrome garnish on the front fenders. The 16-inch alloys and the rear design stay the same. Two new colours, Digital Teal Green and Bluish Black, join Cafe White, Enticing Silver, Gaming Grey, Sportin Red and Insta Blue, for seven in all.
Cabin and comfort
The dashboard layout is largely carried over, but the equipment list is longer. The new items are ventilated front seats, leatherette upholstery, a wireless charger with a cooling vent, and a Clarion sound system. Carried-over features include:
- a 9-inch (22.86 cm) touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
- a head-up display
- automatic climate control and rear AC vents
- a tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel
- keyless entry with push-button start
- 60:40 split rear seats
- Toyota i-Connect connected-car features (remote lock, geofencing, vehicle health alerts)
CarDekho lists petrol boot space at 318 litres. Autocar India says the CNG tank takes up most of the boot, so families who travel with luggage should check this in person before choosing CNG.
Safety and ADAS
The biggest new safety item is a Level 2 ADAS suite with these functions:
- adaptive cruise control
- lane keeping assist
- lane departure warning and lane departure prevention
- autonomous emergency braking
- high beam assist
Toyota also lists these safety features:
- six airbags
- ABS with EBD
- vehicle stability control
- hill hold
- tyre pressure monitoring (TPMS)
- an emergency stop signal
- a 360-degree camera
- rear parking sensors
- ISOFIX child-seat mounts
None of the sources we read gives a variant-wise feature list, so it is not yet clear which trims get ADAS, the 360-degree camera or ventilated seats. The more expensive features are usually limited to the upper trims, so confirm with the dealer for the exact variant you plan to buy. The updated car has not yet been crash-tested by Bharat NCAP. CarDekho notes that the Baleno, on which the Glanza is based, previously scored four stars.
Glanza vs rivals: price comparison
The Glanza competes in the premium hatchback segment. Autocar India gave these ex-showroom price ranges for its main rivals at the time of launch:
| Model | Ex-showroom price range | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|
| Toyota Glanza (new) | ₹6.99 lakh – ₹10.98 lakh | New 3-cylinder engine, Level 2 ADAS, CNG AMT, longer extendable warranty |
| Maruti Suzuki Baleno | ₹5.99 lakh – ₹9.99 lakh | Mechanical twin of the Glanza; the outgoing Baleno range is lower priced |
| Hyundai i20 / i20 N Line | ₹6.00 lakh – ₹11.64 lakh | Range includes the sportier N Line |
| Tata Altroz | ₹6.00 lakh – ₹10.90 lakh | Another premium hatch option in a similar price band |
Rival prices change often, so check each brand’s website before you compare. The Baleno range above was quoted on the Glanza’s launch day, and Maruti may revise it, so get a fresh quote before you compare.
Who should buy the new Glanza?
- High-mileage city commuters: the S or G CNG AMT gives you the convenience of an automatic and the claimed 34.47 km/kg, if you can live with a small boot.
- Feature-focused families: the V and V(O) petrol variants are the ones to consider if ventilated seats, ADAS and a 360-degree camera matter to you. Confirm which trims carry them first.
- Budget buyers: the E and S petrol manuals keep the price under ₹8 lakh ex-showroom. Compare them carefully with the Baleno, which was priced lower at launch.
- Drivers who want strong performance: output is now 83 hp, lower than before, so test-drive it on a highway or a loaded uphill stretch before you sign.
What to do now: a buying checklist
- Get a written on-road quote for your exact variant and city. Ex-showroom prices leave out road tax, registration and insurance, which vary by state.
- Ask about the introductory pricing: confirm with the dealer whether these prices are guaranteed for your delivery date.
- Get a feature list for your variant in writing: especially for ADAS, the 360-degree camera and ventilated seats.
- Compare with the Baleno at a Maruti showroom. They are the same car underneath, so the deciding factors are price, offers, warranty terms and the service network near you.
- Check the CNG boot in person if you choose CNG, using your usual luggage.
- Price the extended warranty (up to 5 years or 2,20,000 km) if you plan to keep the car for a long time.

FAQs

Is the new engine less powerful than the old one?
Yes, slightly. The new three-cylinder Z12E makes about 83 hp on petrol and 70 hp on CNG, about 7 hp less than before, according to Autocar India. Claimed fuel efficiency has improved on every version.

Toyota says deliveries begin in the first week of November 2026. Bookings are open at ₹11,000. Waiting periods differ by city and variant, so ask your dealer.
Bottom line
The 2026 Glanza update adds a lot of equipment: Level 2 ADAS, ventilated seats, TPMS and a CNG automatic, along with better claimed efficiency and Toyota’s longer extendable warranty. The trade-offs are higher prices, slightly less power and, at launch, a higher price than its Baleno twin. If you want a well-equipped, efficient premium hatchback for the city, it belongs on your shortlist. Confirm the features for your variant and get an on-road quote for your city before you pay the booking amount.
